Uttarakhand Assembly Elections 2017: BSP releases list of 50 candidates
Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is all set for Uttarakhand elections apart from Uttar Pradesh elections as the party has released the list of 50 candidates for the upcoming elections in Uttarakhand. In 2012 state elections, BSP has tasted victory in three seats.
BSP recently made it very clear that it go solo in the Uttarakahnd elections and on Saturday BSP released its 50 candidate list and BSP will soon announce another list of 20 candidates. Earlier, BSP had clearly stated that it will contest alone in Punjab, UP and Uttarakhand and BSP chief Mayawatihad said this was being done so as not to compromise the interests of the Bahujan movement.
