In front of authoritatively assuming responsibility as Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh on Saturday visited the National War Memorial in Delhi and paid tributes to the martyred warriors who set out their lives in the line of obligation post-Independence.

Singh was joined by the head of the three powers – Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, and Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh.

Prior on Friday, in the wake of being given the arrangement of Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh had tweeted that would visit the National War Memorial and pay tributes.

He said he was anticipating further reinforce the national security and guard.

In the wake of accepting charge as the Defense Minister, the MoD authorities gave a point by point introduction of the working of the Ministry.

Singh further taught the officers to get ready point by point introductions on all Divisions and set time bound focuses to accomplish the ideal result.

Rajnath Singh, who filled in as Home Minister in the past NDA government from 2014 to 2019, is the senior-most pioneer in the administration. He was the first among the Union Ministers to make vow on Thursday after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The BJP won 303 of the 542 seats on which decisions were held. The NDA finished with a count of 353 seats.
