CHENNAI: Election to Vellore Lok Sabha constituency, which was cancelled after seizure of money from the premises of a DMK functionary, would be hung on August 5, the Election Commission of India (ECI) reported on Thursday. The outcomes would be reported on August 9.
An announcement from the ECI said race newspaper warning would be issued on July 11. The last date for documenting papers is July 18. Assignments will be investigated on July 19, and the last date for pulling back the candidature is July 22.
