New Delhi, Apr 01: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that there were no discussions on a coalition for Delhi’s seven Lok Sabha seats with the Congress as its President Rahul Gandhi has just rejected it.

Conversing with columnists at the airplane terminal in Delhi, the AAP pioneer said he had met Rahul Gandhi as of late and the Congress head had would not “hold hands with the AAP”.

“We (AAP) had just a single gathering with Rahul Gandhi where he said no’ (to collision),” Kejriwal said. Because of previous Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit’s remark that the AAP had not moved toward her, the 50-year-old pioneer included, “I met Rahul. Sheila is much junior to him.”

Arvind Kejriwal has been asking the Congress to join a partnership in Delhi for the Lok Sabha surveys to ward off the BJP from power.

Pioneers in the Delhi unit of the Congress were isolated over the issue of partnership with Dikshit and her three working presidents contradicting it, party sources had said.

A top source in the gathering had as of late said that odds of the partnership were “thin” considering its long haul repercussions in Delhi.

“The greatest inquiry is in what manner will Congress face the AAP in Assembly decisions due in 2020 after the tie-up. Additionally, the gathering does not increase much politically as it is being offered just 2-3 situates by Arvind Kejriwal,” the source had said.

Congress had experienced a mental blackout in the 2014 parliamentary decisions in Delhi.

The discussion of the union was fuelled by the way that the Congress and AAP had mutually surveyed a greater number of votes than the BJP that had left with all the seven seats in the national capital.

Delhi has 7 Lok Sabha seats and it will go to surveys on May 12.
